Greater continuity of care You will be more closely connected with your regular GP, helping ensure your health history, management plans, and follow-up care remain consistent.
Longer Medicare-funded telehealth consultations Eligible patients may access longer MBS-funded telehealth appointments with their registered GP, allowing you to get the support you need from home.
Better support for chronic conditions MyMedicare strengthens chronic disease management through improved coordination of care and long-term treatment planning.
Improved health outcomes With a more formal relationship between you and your GP, MyMedicare helps deliver more personalised, ongoing healthcare tailored to your needs.

Are You Eligible to Register?
You can register for MyMedicare if you meet the following criteria:
- You hold a Medicare Card or Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) Veteran Card, and
- You have had two or more face-to-face visits at Yokine Medical Centre within the past 24 months (or one visit if you live in a remote location)
Registration is free and voluntary.
